为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称“中心”）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。
孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到华南师范大学学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业。
To meet the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate Chinese language education around the world, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China.
Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further their studies in international Chinese language education and related programs at South China Normal University.
资助对象
1. 非中国籍人士，身心健康，品学兼优。
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。
3. 身心健康，品学兼优。
4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作。
5. 年龄一般在16-35周岁（统一以2026年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁,本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁。
Eligibility
●Be a non-Chinese citizen, in good physical and mental health, in good academic and behavioral standing.
●Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of our university.
●In good physical and mental health, and outstanding in both character and academic performance.
●Be interested in Chinese language education and related work.
●Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2026. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.

汉语国际教育专业博士研究生 Scholarship for Doctor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
| ● 资助期限：4年 ● 入学时间：2026年9月 ● 具有硕士学历，硕士专业为对外汉语、语言学、国际中文教育或教育相关专业。 ● 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（六级）200分，HSKK（高级）60分，或达到HSK（七级） ● 提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。 ● Maximum program duration: 4 academic years ● Enrollment time: September 2026 ● Hold a Master’s degree in teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Linguistics, International Chinese Language Education, or education-related disciplines.
● Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect. |
国际中文教育专业硕士研究生 Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
| ● 资助期限：2年 ● 入学时间：2026年9月 ● 具有大学本科学历 ● 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210分，HSKK（中级）60分。 ● 提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。 ● Maximum program duration: 2 academic years ● Enrollment time: September 2026 ● A Bachelor’s degree holders ● Have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5), and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level) ● Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect. |
汉语言本科生 Scholarship for Undergraduate of Chinese Language for International Students

一学年研修生 Scholarship for One-Year Study Program | ● 资助期限：11个月 ● 入学时间：2026年9月 ★国际中文教育 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分、具有HSKK成绩。 ★汉语言文学 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（四级）180分、HSKK（中级）60分。 ★汉语研修 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分，提供HSKK成绩者优先。 ● Maximum program duration: 11 months ● Enrollment time: September 2026 ★International Chinese language education program A minimum score of 270 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required. ★Chinese Language and Literature Program：A minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate ). ★Chinese Language Study Program：A minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3), and priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK Test score. |
一学期研修生 Scholarship for One-Semester Study Program | ● 资助期限：5个月 ● 入学时间：2026年9月或2027年3月 ★国际中文教育、汉语言文学 中文水平考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩。 ● Maximum program duration: 5 months ● Enrollment time: Either in September 2026 or March 2027 ★International Chinese language education，Chinese Language and Literature Programs：A minimum score of 180 on the HSK test(Level 3) and an HSKK test score is required. |
四周研修生 Scholarship for Four-Week Study Program | ● 资助期限：4周 ● 入学时间：2026年月 7 月 ★汉语研修、汉语言+中国家庭体验 具有 HSK 成绩。由推荐单位组团进行报名，并事先联系接收院校确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团 10-15 人。 ● Maximum program duration: 4 weeks ● Enrollment time: July 2026 ★Requirement for programs(Chinese Language plus Home-stay Experience in a Chinese Family, Chinese Language Study) ★HSK Test score is required. Organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with SCNU and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval. |
申请流程
2026年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心国际中文教师奖学金板块申请（http://cis.chinese.cn ）。申请人须同时登录华南师范大学国际学生在线管理服务系统 (http://istudy.scnu.edu.cn) 在线提交申请。
登录奖学金网站，查询推荐机构与接收院校，第一志愿选择“华南师范大学”,在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按我校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

Online registration will be available from March 1, 2026 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website（http://cis.chinese.cn）, and register at SCNU website (http://istudy.scnu.edu.cn) at the same time..

You may search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions, choose South China Normal University as your first choice, submit application materials online, track the application process. Scholarship winners must confirm with SCNU to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out scholarship certificate online. You should report to our university on time as stipulated in the admission notice.
申请截止日期（以北京时间为准）
学历生：5月15日（2026年9月入学申请者）
非学历生：
1.4月15日（2026年7月入学申请者）
2.5月15日（2026年9月入学申请者）
3.10月31日（2027年3月入学申请者）
中心委托专家集中评审：根据HSK、HSKK考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前3个月完成奖学金评审工作，发布评审结果。

CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK levels and scores, geographical distribution, and other factors. The results will be published about three months before the program starts.
关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
1. 在职中文教师
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取。
2. 汉语桥获奖者
在各类“汉语桥”比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向我校提交申请材料。

Policies regarding In-service Chinese language teachers and Chinese Bridge Winners
● In-service Chinese language teachers need to provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
●Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions need to submit your application documents along with scholarship certificates to SCNU directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

1）汉语言本科生须提供来华留学本科入学学业水平测试（CSCA测试）数学（考试语言为中文）成绩单。
2）在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
3）未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。
4）申请者还须提供我校要求的其他证明材料。

Application Documents
A. For all applicants
a) A scanned copy of the passport photo page.
b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK, HSKK tests(within two-year validity).
c) A Reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institutions.
B. For degree program applicants
a) A certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation), and an official transcript.
b) Learning plan.

C. Other supplementary materials
a) Undergraduate of Chinese Language for International Students must provide the score report of College Entrance Achievement Test for International Students(CSCA Test) in Mathematics (the examination language is Chinese).
b) In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
c) Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.
d) Applicants shall provide additional documents as required by SCNU.

其它Miscellaneous
1. 一学期研修项目和一学年研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。
2. 申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的，概不受理。
3. 申请材料弄虚作假或非本人填写提交的，一经查实，申请资格将被取消。
4. 入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。
5. 学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。
● In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within 3 years are not eligible for the one-semester study program and one-year study program.
● Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be accepted.
● Applicants will be disqualified from application in case of the fact that application materials are found fraudulent or application materials are completed and submitted by someone else.
● Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship.
● Degree students are subject to the annual assessment according to the Annual Assessment Procedures of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.
